Machine Quilting Services
Are you ready to have your quilt machined quilted? Then you've come to the right place.
The Short-Arm Cafe offers a free motion basic machine quilting stipple for all size quilts up to 105" X 105".
Turn around time varies between 1 day and 4 weeks depending on the season. If your quilt will take longer than 2
weeks (14 days), you will be contacted by email.
Terms of Service:
Short-Arm Cafe requires that you do the following before dropping off your quilt or before shipping it.
1. Please make sure that if your fabric is directional that the backing is marked "TOP" or "BOTTOM" of the backing.
2. Please make sure your backing is at least 3" - 6" wider than your quilt top, but NO WIDER.
3. Please make sure that your backing is completely squared up.
4. We have batting available at our shop. If you purchase your batting with us, we will give you 10% off your batting
purchase.
5. Batting is not included into the Machine Quilting Price.
6. You do not have to provide thread. However, we would never object to you sending us machine quilting thread to
complete your quilt. We do not charge for matching thread to your quilt. After we complete your quilt, we will send
back the remaining thread.
Note: You may send 2 different thread color choices. One for the Top and one for the bottom.
7. There is NO SET-UP Charge.
8. Make sure your borders do not ruffle and lay completely flat. If there is ruffling, you may have a few puckers.
9. Binding is not included. See fees and rates below.
10. Return Shipping and Insurance is not included into the Machine Quilting Price. See Rates Below:
11. Short-Arm Cafe will take care of squaring off your entire quilt so that you will not have to do this at home.
12. Quilts are shipped U.S. Priority Mail.
13. You will need to sign for your quilt. This will ensure delivery. You will receive an email informing you your quilt
has shipped.
